about

This new track Tch'elema (Amharic- Darkness) is our reflection of what's going on in the world right now. Governmental chaos, climate change, refugees crises.. It's dark. The tune however was written using the Ethiopian Antchi Hoye scale which, despite it's sharp, perhaps menacing timbre, is used for joyous occasions. That is our way to acknowledge the dark time of right now but with looking forward to a brighter future.
